I am an expressionist artist who is solidly grounded in drawing. I have attended a classical drawing academy in high school in my country of birth, Bulgaria, and I continue to seek instruction, including the drawing workshops at the National Portrait Gallery, the National Gallery of Art in DC, and others.

I am using my drawing skills and the expressionist qualities of the oil painting medium to create a visual language that intersects the concrete drawing with the abstract, and the intentional with the intuitive expression.

As an artist, I am thinking and reacting within the categories of our contemporary life; and my work is my prayer for restoring the broken harmony in our souls and for recovering the civility in our society.

In addition to developing my art, I am launching a start-up, developing a non-profit, and enjoying my family and friends.
